‘Batman V Superman’ Trailer Attached to ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ [UPDATED]

Ever since Zack Snyder wrapped up production on his hotly-anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in late 2014, fans have been foaming at the mouth to see a teaser trailer for the superhero crossover. Over the past few months, the elusive preview has been rumored to appear several times; first with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and then Jupiter Ascending. Obviously, nothing has come of these reports and moviegoers are still waiting for their first look at Snyder’s film.

And those impatiently demanding that a trailer be released might have their wish granted in the very near future. Apparently, the first trailer for the film will be attached to prints of Warner Bros.’ big summer release Mad Max: Fury Road in May, commencing the first wave of marketing for the blossoming DC shared cinematic universe.


Word of this development comes courtesy of Collider (making this their second big trailer scoop of the day), who have spoken to numerous sources that all say the Batman V Superman teaser is “absolutely attached” to ALL copies of the new Mad Max film. As is the case with Disney attaching the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer to The Avengers: Age of Ultron, this development marks a bit of corporate synergy on the part of WB. In all honesty, it isn’t that surprising. When the previous Jupiter Ascending rumor proved false, many could have guessed Mad Max would get the goods.
