While early season blockbusters like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Jurassic World are currently dominating media focus, Terminator: Genisys is starting to gain some marketing steam. Directed by Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, and Jason Clarke, the fifth installment of the sci-fi/action franchise is sitting in the prime July 4th weekend slot, and Paramount Pictures is hoping the one-two punch of Genisys and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nationwill feature enough thrills and spectacle to compete with the aforementioned competition.
As is the case with all potential summer blockbuster in the modern era, the foreign box office receipts are a huge concern, so Paramount has amped up the film’s media presence overseas with the release of these five new International TV spots featuring even more new footage from the film. Be warned, though – like the previous controversial trailer released last month, these International TV spots continue to SPOIL the big twist of the film.
In addition to more material involving *that* spoiler, one of the spots also features a major revelation about the film’s enigmatic subtitle.
